Santa Barbara County is home to several wine regions within an easy drive of downtown, and the best way to see them is with someone else driving. We run private wine tours with a chauffeur from Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta and the Santa Ynez Valley, in stretch limousines, Sprinters, SUVs and party buses.

Pick your wine region
- Santa Ynez Valley: Los Olivos, Solvang, Santa Ynez and Buellton. The most wineries close together, about 40 minutes from Santa Barbara. Our most popular tour.
- Santa Maria Valley: cooler, quieter, known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. About 70 minutes north.
- The Funk Zone: tasting rooms and breweries in downtown Santa Barbara, blocks from the beach. No long drive.
- Malibu: ocean-view tastings in the Santa Monica Mountains, closest for groups starting in Ventura or Los Angeles.
- Ventura wine trail: urban tasting rooms around Ventura, between Santa Barbara and LA.
- Temecula and Los Angeles: for groups starting further south.
How a tour day usually goes
- Pickup at your home, hotel or the Santa Barbara waterfront, usually late morning.
- Three or four tasting rooms, chosen for your group, with the drive between them part of the view.
- A lunch stop: a winery picnic, a restaurant in Los Olivos or Solvang, or catered box lunches we arrange.
- Home by early evening, with everyone safe and nobody counting their pours.
Vehicles for wine tours
- Couples and small groups: a sedan or SUV. See sedans and SUVs.
- 8 to 10 people: a Lincoln or Chrysler 300 stretch limousine. See stretch limousines.
- Up to 14: a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, or a Hummer or Escalade super stretch for a party feel. See SUV limousines.
- Bigger groups: a party bus or coach. See party buses.
Good to know
- Tasting rooms keep daytime hours, so tours usually run late morning to late afternoon; Saturdays book up, so reserve the vehicle early.
- Bachelor and bachelorette groups: see our bachelor party and bachelorette party pages.
